Hi, I'm Annabelle. I plan family trips to Portugal from my home in Porto.

I'm French, and I've lived in France, the UK and Germany before settling in Porto with my family in 2021. My husband is Portuguese, and my two kids (now a teen and a tween) have grown up exploring this country with me, from Porto's playgrounds to the Alentejo plains to the Azores.

That's what I bring to your trip: not research from a distance, but the knowledge of someone who lives here, eats here and gets lost on the back roads here with her own children.

📌 camping road trip in Italy with kids? Yes! We might even have visited a hospital there!

📌 experienced a tornado while on a holiday? Kids thought it was fun!

I have always loved travelling independently, planning my own itineraries, researching restaurants and taking the detour just because it looked fun on the map. Having kids meant I was not ready to do things differently. There is definitely something to be said for resorts where the whole family can relax and be entertained but my passion remains firmly in the independent travel where there is something for everyone.
